Local concert was about more than talent
What a treat. On Sunday, April 23, the Spotswood Kids Play Committee staged a fundraising concert featuring artists from the Spotswood Music Academy on Main Street.
For a $5 donation, attendees were treated to wonderful performances from a variety of musicians and vocalists. The music ranged from classical to jazz, and from blues to pop. It was a terrific way to spend a couple of hours for a very good cause.
Beyond the entertainment, this event demonstrated that we have some real gems here in Spotswood: The Music Academy on Main Street and the dedicated volunteers of the Kids Play committee.
Thanks to all of you for a great afternoon.
