Music Theory Classes

If you are interested in composing your own music or if you would like to learn to read music faster and easier, then music theory is for you.

Music Theory I:(Understanding music as a language)

Basic knowledge of note reading in treble clef is required prior to this course. content includes scales, key signatures, modes, intervals, bass clef reading and triads.

Music Theory III: (Harmonic analysis)

Gain a deeper understanding of how music works, and compose your own pieces. Learn how larger musical works are structured such as orchestral or choral music. Learn the historical relevance of a work. Prerequisite: Theory II or Placement Exam
